About Our Classes:

Feet!

All students must be dressed in proper dance attire to receive the most of their education. Our staff needs to be able to see proper body placement and prevent injury. Unacceptable dance wear includes: Jeans, any loose fitting t-shirts or pants, regular street clothes/school uniforms, and hair left down. Hair needs to be pulled back securely for every class as it is a safety hazard. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in removal from class for the day. Boys may wear tighter fitting t-shirts and shorts or pants to class.

Our instructors continually evaluate each student to see who would do well in this group. A student, who has excellent attendance in class, works hard in class (not in class for socializing only), shows a rare love and talent for dance, and respects teachers and fellow students is a great fit for this group. We also look for how well a student retains and performs the combinations given in class. Not all students are ready at the same time as their friends and family. Attire to be worn should follow the same guidelines, in the form of dance you are in, as above. Shoes will be determined by the instructor and they will let you know by summer session.
